D&J’s nod to mod wedding

D&J just marked their first anniversary and to celebrate I wanted to share some highlights from their colorful day at The Stonehurst in Shadow Hills, CA planned by Leilani Weddings. Pops of yellow perfectly energized their nod to vintage style. Daphne dawned a 60s-style A-line mid-length dress. Sewn-in was lace from her mother-in-law’s dress adding a sentimental nuance to her outfit. Brigitte Caille perfected natural, yet elevated hair and makeup with a nod to mod for the bride. Chamomile, daisies, and billy button florals, done by a family friend, brought together the whole look of the day. It was important to the couple who are both vegan and alcohol-free to provide a quality culinary experience that all could enjoy. Nomad Cocktail Co. brought a broad assortment of alcohol-free spirits and beverages that did not disappoint including crowd favorite Ghia spritz! While Olive Wood Pizza provided the yummiest vegan experience to all the guests. Topped off with delectable vegan cupcakes from Half Baked Co. The couple was serenaded by musician friends and had the ultimate dance party! It was an emotional, beautiful celebration of two beautiful individuals! My only regret is that we can’t do it all again! Happy Anniversary Daphne and Jonathan!!
